Assistant Director/2IC
Join a great family owned business at Tarella House Early Learning Centre, Cammeray, part of Babies by the Bay. We are seeking a full time Assistant Director who can assist the Director with managing the team and ensuring smooth running of the centre.
Tarella House Early Learning Centre is a homely 16 place centre with two rooms. Small group numbers ensure quality care and education.
This would be a perfect opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step and gain experience as Assistant Director. Also, with 5 other centres in Sydney there is plenty of room to grow within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Have a genuine interest in promoting children's learning and well-being
- Work to create positive and stimulating environments to support children
- Observe and evaluate children's development and learning
- Create and implement programming and planning for children
- Liaise with children, families and educators in a positive and friendly manner
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

What we need from you:
- Diploma in Early Childhood, Certificate III in Early Childhood or working towards.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Individuals will need to be passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to high-quality Early Childhood Education.
- A current Working with Children’s Check (WWC).
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Creativity to bring new ideas to the table, and to develop exciting projects for the children to explore.
- Ability to take on leadership roles as required.
