Kogil St is looking for a dedicated, passionate, energetic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. We believe in consistency and require a Full Time Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education 
  • Current and valid Working with Children's Check or ability to obtain
  • Current and valid First Aid Certificate including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Full time role 
  • Creative, fun, healthy and safe learning environment ensuring the health and safety of all children is maintained at all times
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS) to ensure the delivery of high quality education programs
  • Ability to plan, implement and evaluate educational programs tailored to individual needs and interests
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engagement with children, their families and fellow educators, staff and management
  •  Ability to observe children's progress whilst documenting their learning and applying this information to guide future planning
  • A strong ability to work effectively and positively with other educators, staff,  management and families
  • Commitment to create an inclusive, responsive and respectful learning environment

Desirable Skills & Knowledge

  • Previous experience in early childhood setting but not essential
  • Ensuring an inclusive environment for all children regardless of background and abilities
  • Familiarity with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay informed and up to date with the latest educational practices
