Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma Trained Educator looking to make a positive impact in the lives of young children? Rainbow Child Care Centre, a family-operated business since 1994, is seeking a committed professional to join our friendly and passionate team. We pride ourselves on our reputable standing in the community and our unwavering dedication to our Rainbow family.

Position Details:

- Location: Rainbow Child Care Centre, 84 McIntosh Road Narraweena (Northern Beaches)

- Schedule: Wednesday to Friday (with additional days available as they arise)

- Age Group: Children aged 3-5 years in a long day care setting

Job Start Date: January 13, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate programs for children

- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes learning and development

- Write and maintain detailed observations of children's progress and milestones

- Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards

- Collaborate effectively with team members to create a cohesive and supportive atmosphere

Requirements:

- Experience in Long Day Care (LDC) settings

- Strong knowledge of programming and curriculum development

- Familiarity with regulations governing early childhood education

- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

- Current First Aid Certificate/Asthma Management

- Current Working With Children Check

- Current Child Protection Certificate

- Current references

- Must have knowledge and proficiency in using technology for educational purposes
