Early Childhood Educator

As we continue to grow to serve our growing community, we have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Educator to join our Exceeding-rated service ! We're seeking a professional & passionate Educator to join our supportive, community-focused team in permanent part-time role, 5 days per week. 

Gunning Early Learning Centre is a warm and vibrant, 35-place Early Childhood Education and Care service, perfectly located in Gunning, NSW—just a quick 30-minute drive from Yass or Goulburn, and 45 minutes to Canberra CBD.

Duties & responsibilities

Support the Educational Program – Play a key role in observing, planning, and implementing engaging learning experiences that foster children’s growth and development.

Build Strong Relationships – Cultivate trusting and respectful connections with children, families, and colleagues to create a positive, collaborative environment.

Be a Team Player – Demonstrate proactive teamwork, set high personal and team standards, and contribute to a positive and uplifting team spirit to enhance overall service performance.

Skills & requirements

Minimum of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (those currently working towards their diploma are welcome to apply).

Current First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification.

Valid Working with Children Check.

Food Handling Certificate.

Strong, hands-on experience with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.

Flexibility to work across all shifts and collaborate effectively as part of a productive team.
