Early Childhood Educators for our Nursery and Preschool Rooms

Froebel St Leonards is one of 5 early learning services run by the not-for-profit provider Froebel Australia. The centre offers inspiring learning environments on 3 levels plus a rooftop playground for 99 children from 6 months to 6 years. Our educational program focuses on immersive language learning (second language: German) and inquiry-based early learning by implementing the Little Scientists program. We are looking for committed and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educators to join our teams in our Nursery and Preschool Rooms. The roles are for 37.5 hours per week worked across 5 days (4 days as well as part-time will be considered).

The successful candidate will:

  • hold an approved Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education or is actively working towards this qualification
  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to built and grow trusting relationships with colleagues, families and community members
  • have an interest in immersive language (German language skills are NOT required) and inquiry-based learning; an interest in STEM is a bonus
  • have an understanding of contemporary child safe practices
  • last but definitely not least: have a sunny personality with a positive mindset! 🌞
