Assistant Director
About the role
Kindikids Early Learning Centres is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Director to join our team at our new centre in Five Dock, NSW. In this role, you will work closely with the Centre Director to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our service. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of operations, supporting staff, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and assisting with the implementation of programs and policies. The Assistant Director will be a key leader in helping achieve our mission and goals.

What you will be doing:
- Ensuring the service exceeds the expectations and needs of the staff, children, parents, their families and local community
- Ensuring compliant operation of the service in accordance with relevant Acts, Laws and regulations including but not limited to the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 and the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Act 2010.
- Ensuring exceeding operation of the service against NQF standards.
- Ensuring the service maximises its utilisation, is effectively staffed and rostered.
- Leading and fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, respect and empowerment.
- Effective relationships with the service’s team and the management team across all services, facilities, education, HR, accounts and marketing.
- Effective relationships with external stakeholders to ensure efficient running of service.
The ideal candidate will have:
- a passion for working with young children and a commitment to their care and education.
- effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- a responsible and reliable approach to your work..
- completed a relevant qualification Early Childhood Education and Care.
- a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
- sound knowledge of Children's Services Regulations and other legislative requirements.
- a Working with Children Check clearance.
