Kidsafe NSW is a not-for-profit organisation, part of a national network, aimed at preventing death and serious injury to children under 15 yrs, through community education, advocacy and research. - Provide expert advice on the development and maintenance of safe, challenging and innovative playspaces for children 0-15 years across NSW
- Conduct and report on playground safety inspections (may include playground surface impact attenuating tests), and review of plans for playground developments across a range of sectors, in line with the Australian Standards for Playground Equipment and Surfacing
- Assist clients in understanding and conforming to the Playground Standards; and
- Proactively work with clients to create inclusive playspaces
