About the role:
If you are a passionate and self-motivated Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education & Care, we are searching for YOU! Join our Bluebird community and ignite the spirit of learning in young minds.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor’s in early childhood education & Care (or equivalent approved by ACECQA) with QLD registration for a full-time ECT position.
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in an ECT role at an Early Childhood Education Centre.
- A current and valid blue card (Employee)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates or be willing to obtain these.
- Current child Protection and Food Handling certificates or be willing to obtain these.
- A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) & Practical knowledge of QKLG.
- Passionate about providing exceeding early education and care.
- Self-motivated with the ability to think outside the box.
- Proficient in oral and written communication.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to build rapport with families, colleagues, stakeholders and members of the community)
