About the role
Join us as an Early Childhood Educator – Diploma (internally known as Early Childhood Officer) where you’ll design and deliver engaging, developmentally rich programs that ignite curiosity and foster growth.
Make a lasting impact by fostering a safe, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment that supports every child’s growth and potential in a play-based educational setting.
Our Children’s Centres operate Monday to Friday, with varying hours from 8:00am to 6:00pm for each location. We are also open for 48 weeks per year, with a refreshing four-week break over Christmas.
We currently have the following opportunities available for immediate offer:
- 2 x permanent full-time position located at TAFE NSW Albury Children’s Centre (20 places)
- 1 x permanent part-time (17.5 hpw) position located at TAFE NSW Wagga Wagga Children’s Centre (20 places)
- 1 x permanent full-time position located at TAFE NSW Wetherill Park Children’s Centre (40 places)
- 1 x temporary (Nov 2025) full-time position located at TAFE NSW Wetherill Park Children’s Centre (40 places)

About you

You love designing safe, stimulating, and educational experiences that make a lasting impact. Your ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate with your team ensures the smooth and successful operation of our dynamic centres.
What you will bring:
- Diploma/Associated Diploma recognised by Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) with a minimum 12 months experience in early childhood services.
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, and Child Protection - Mandatory Reporting Framework.
- A Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, and ACECQA-approved First Aid certification (including CPR, asthma, anaphylaxis, and diabetes management).
- Highly regarded: demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Services.
