Early Childhood Educator

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Childcare Educator to join our team at Spring Farm Early Learning Centre in Spring Farm, NSW. This is a full-time role, as the room leader in the toddler room you will play an important part in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners. You will be supported by our Nominated Supervisor and Director.

Our Service is small and our toddler room has between 10-12 children enrolled per day. We are seeking a bubbly, energetic person who is a team player.

What you'll be doing

• Creating and implementing engaging lesson plans and learning activities that support the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of children
• Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to tailor your approach and support each child's individual needs
• Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that adheres to all relevant health, safety, and childcare regulations
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive community
• Actively participating in team meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education (Certificate III in Children's Services)
• At least 2 years of experience working as a Childcare Educator in a similar setting
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and the ability to design and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues
• A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young children and their families
• A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
