About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team in the Kindy Room, supporting our Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) in delivering a high-quality, play-based Kindergarten program. This role is ideal for someone who values collaboration, creativity, and child-led learning in a nurturing and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Early Childhood Teacher in delivering and running the Kindergarten program
  • Create a safe, secure, and home-like environment where children feel supported and valued
  • Engage with children in a play-based learning approach, fostering curiosity, independence, and confidence
  • Curriculum planning and documentation, contributing to engaging and meaningful learning experiences
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and staff to build strong, trusting relationships
  • Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team, contributing to a positive and supportive workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with service policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, maintaining high-quality standards

About You

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
  • Passion for play-based learning and supporting children’s growth and development
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to building relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Understanding of National Quality Standards (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
